The Nefertiti Experience: Your Ultimate Immersive Destination

The Nefertiti Experience (Story of a Rebel Queen) is based on the true story of Queen Nefertiti, an Egyptian queen that ruled 3,000 years ago with her husband King Akhenaten but was essentially wiped from the face of history.

Through immersive theatre, involving live actors, projection mapping, virtual reality using the Meta Quest 2 headset and Augmented reality, we tell the history and mythology of this infamous queen .

Immersive Theatre (Film)

In an ever evolving world, art is merging more closely with the digital experience than ever. This exciting time inspired us to create a pilot film for the story of Nefertiti (The Beautiful One Has Come). This film became the prelude to Nefertiti (Story of a Rebel Queen). Our Virtual Reality Director Jason Spanu used the technology of the Unreal Engine gaming software to create elaborate digital sets depicting Ancient Egypt.

Virtual reality immersion

Immerse in the enchanting and mysterious world of The City of Karnak in VR! Using the Oculus 2 headset, traverse an Ancient Egyptian desert to explore stories and uncover clues to achieve the goal of discovering the bust of Queen Nefertiti.

Augmented experience

Players using an accesible AR app, learn about the hsitory of Ancient Egypyt by scanning posters. Elements such as The Queen's bust, pyramids and other artifacts come to life with dynamic 3D assets!

Users will also engage with trivia questions via the AR app. They will learn about the fascinating history of Queen Nefertiti who was one of histories only co-regent Pharaoh's.
